« Enfant déjà, je pénétrais des « endroits oubliés ».
Depuis une vingtaine d’années maintenant, je tente de garder une trace et de partager ces explorations à travers mes photos.
Une façon pour moi de figer pour l’éternité l’ambiance d’un bâtiment bien souvent oublié des hommes et sur le point de disparaitre à jamais. Que ce soit un hôpital militaire du 18 ème, un château, une prison du 19 ème ou un navire de guerre célèbre etc…
Tous ces sites, difficilement accessibles, ont en commun de ne plus être habités, entretenus et surtout pas vandalisés. Ces lieux dégagent encore une puissante émotion pour ceux qui savent les regarder, contrairement à ceux qui se contentent de les voir.

As a child, I entered the forgotten places .
This is to me a way to freeze for eternity the atmosphere of a long abandoned building, forgotten by men and about to disappear forever.  Weather a Military Hospital from the 18th century, a Castle, a jailhouse from the 19th century or a famous retired warship…
For the last 20 years, I have looked for these places and wanted to share these explorations through my photos.
All of these places, filled with memory and history, which are all unmanned and uncared for, are not vandalized .
For those with the right eye, give off a feeling of fear and excitement mixed with a profound respect
